Project details
How do you make a relatively generic car launch interesting? You don’t
make it about the car.
For the Lexus LBX, we partnered with musician
Oh Land and created a concept built around shared values – not
features. We asked her reflective questions about detail,
individuality, and being true to your self – themes that connect both
her work and the Lexus brand. She then recorded four personal
monologues. Lexus isn’t even mentioned – the car only appears in
subtle, natural cutaways.
The result? A honest series of reels that
felt more like thoughts that represents what it means to be a part of
the Lexus brand.
And all four films shot in a single day within four
hours, on an iPhone. Proof that native content done right doesn’t need
a big production - just the right idea.
